Everyone is gathered at the entrance of Scudamore's for the kick-off of 4 hour punting event. We had a beautiful day, unusual for England. Once everyone has been organized into their punting boats, we're ready to start. Most of the family decided to man their own boats. Picnic hampers were packed with snacks, sandwiches and desserts for an afternoon lunch. Pimms a classic English drink and Cava from Spain were provided for the adults to sip as they glide along the river. Children had bubble blowers, fruit juice and the 1st time experience of punting to entertain them. Patrica, Elizabeth and John walked along Paradise Trail beside the boats to see us off.
